Women, Philosophy, and the 20% Syllabus

There is a gender gap in philosophy and some people are pointing to the typical undergraduate syllabus as being a contributor to this problem. The Georgia State Philosophy Department is trying to combat this problem and increase the interest of undergraduate women in philosophy by requiring syllabi contain at least 20% female thinkers.
